Simply Education is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive village primary school located just south of Lincoln, seeking an enthusiastic and committed Key Stage 1 Teacher for a full academic year maternity cover, starting in September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit school community where children are at the heart of everything they do. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a KS1 class, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons while creating a positive learning environment that enables every child to thrive.

The Role

• Full-time teaching position (term-time only)
• Maternity cover for the full 2026/27 academic year
• Responsibility for a Key Stage 1 class
• Full planning, preparation and marking responsibilities
• Assessing pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community
• Creating an inclusive classroom where every child feels supported and challenged

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom management skills
• A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A commitment to delivering high-quality education and achieving the best outcomes for pupils
