Teach Now is recruiting for an enthusiastic and skilled KS1 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Greenwich on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about early learning, strong classroom practice and helping young pupils build confidence and curiosity.
The school is a welcoming and ambitious primary setting with a strong community feel. Staff are supported by approachable leaders, collaborative year-group teams and a culture that values creativity, inclusion and high expectations. The school is looking for a teacher who can bring warmth, structure and energy to the classroom.

The Role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development. You will create a positive classroom environment where children feel safe to ask questions, take risks and develop a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver creative, well-structured KS1 lessons.
• Support pupil progress in reading, writing, maths and the wider curriculum.
• Use assessment effectively to identify next steps and adapt teaching.
• Create a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work closely with teaching assistants, phase leaders and senior leaders.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and year-group planning.

Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status, QTS.
• Experience teaching in KS1 or strong placement experience for early career teachers.
• Good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective assessment practice.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation.
• A reflective, creative and collaborative teaching style.
• Commitment to inclusion and raising standards for all pupils.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
