Salary: £37,870–£56,154 per annum, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary

Teach Now is recruiting an enthusiastic and experienced KS1 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Barnet.
This opportunity is ideal for a teacher who enjoys creating a classroom where children are excited to participate, confident enough to make mistakes and supported to build strong foundations in reading, writing and mathematics.
The successful KS1 Teacher will take responsibility for a Key Stage 1 class and work closely with support staff and colleagues across the phase.
Key responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging KS1 lessons
- Teaching early reading and phonics effectively
- Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Creating a positive, structured classroom environment
- Supporting pupils with SEND and varying starting points
- Building effective relationships with parents and carers
- Contributing positively to wider school life
We are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent UK primary teaching experience
- Secure knowledge of the KS1 National Curriculum
- Strong phonics and early reading practice
- Effective classroom and behaviour management
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
