Salary: £40,372–£59,864 per annum
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary

Teach Now is recruiting a confident KS1 Teacher for a long-term primary teaching opportunity in Harrow.

Key Stage 1 is where strong learning habits really begin. The successful teacher will create a structured, encouraging classroom where pupils develop confidence in phonics, reading, writing and mathematics while becoming increasingly independent.

As the KS1 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver creative and well-structured KS1 lessons
  • Teach phonics and early reading confidently
  • Use assessment to plan appropriate next steps
  • Differentiate effectively for pupils with SEND and mixed attainment
  • Maintain positive behaviour and clear routines
  • Work collaboratively with support staff
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers

We are looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Successful recent KS1 experience
  • Strong National Curriculum knowledge
  • Secure phonics teaching practice
  • Effective classroom management
  • High expectations and an inclusive approach

Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications and will be agreed within the stated salary range.

This KS1 Teacher position offers the consistency of a long-term placement, giving you the opportunity to establish your classroom properly and see the impact of your teaching across the year.
