Teach Now is recruiting a committed KS1 Teacher for a long-term opportunity in Harrow. This position would suit a teacher who is particularly strong at creating secure routines, developing early literacy and encouraging children to become confident, independent learners.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
- Delivering high-quality phonics and early reading
- Developing pupils' writing and mathematical fluency
- Assessing learning and providing targeted support
- Supporting pupils with SEND
- Establishing clear expectations for behaviour
- Working effectively with classroom support staff
- Maintaining constructive communication with families
The ideal candidate will have:
- QTS
- Recent KS1 teaching experience
- Strong phonics knowledge
- Good understanding of KS1 assessment
- Effective classroom management
- A patient, positive and organised teaching style
Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications, with pay offered within the stated £40,372–£42,484 range.
