About the Role
An established Harrow primary school is looking for a dedicated KS1 Teacher who can combine strong academic expectations with a warm and encouraging classroom approach.
Working within a supportive Key Stage 1 team, you will help pupils move from the foundations established in EYFS towards greater independence as readers, writers and mathematicians.
The school values consistency, positive relationships and well-structured teaching and would suit someone who enjoys creating a calm classroom in which pupils know what is expected of them.
- Plan and teach an ambitious KS1 curriculum.
- Build pupils’ fluency and confidence in reading.
- Deliver engaging English and maths lessons.
- Use assessment effectively to identify gaps and next steps.
- Support children with additional learning needs.
- Maintain clear routines and positive behaviour expectations.
- Contribute to year-group planning and school life.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Experience within KS1.
