Salary: £40,372–£59,864 per annum (M1–UPS3), dependent on experience and qualifications
Contract: Full-time, Long-term Temporary
Start: September 2026 – immediate/as soon as possible
Teach Now is recruiting an enthusiastic KS1 Teacher for a full-time opportunity at a primary school in Brent.
This is an important stage of primary education, and the successful teacher will help pupils transform their early skills into confidence in reading, writing, maths and independent learning.
- Plan and deliver engaging Year 1 or Year 2 lessons.
- Teach high-quality phonics and early literacy.
- Develop pupils' mathematical confidence and problem-solving skills.
- Use assessment to identify individual next steps.
- Differentiate effectively for pupils requiring additional support or challenge.
- Create a positive classroom where children feel confident to participate.
- UK QTS.
- KS1 teaching or placement experience.
- Good knowledge of systematic synthetic phonics.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management.
- A patient and encouraging teaching style.
Experienced teachers and ECTs with strong KS1 experience are welcome.
