Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher looking for your next long-term opportunity in a welcoming North London primary school?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a number of friendly and inclusive primary schools in the Tufnell Park area that are looking to appoint passionate Key Stage 1 Teachers for full-time, long-term roles starting in September 2026. These positions offer the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

As a KS1 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum

• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils

• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress effectively

• Foster excellent behaviour and positive relationships within the classroom

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for pupils

• Contribute to the wider life of the school

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1 in UK primary schools

• Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service

• Be available to work Monday to Friday (5 days per week)

• Be flexible to travel to schools across both Islington and Hackney boroughs

• Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning

• Be committed to working collaboratively as part of a school team
