Position: KS2 Supply Teacher
Location: Retford, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

About the Role

As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you will teach pupils across Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 in primary schools throughout Retford. You may undertake day-to-day cover, short-term assignments or longer-term opportunities depending on school requirements and your availability.

The KS2 Supply Teacher role is suited to experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers who enjoy working across different school environments. Academics work with a variety of schools across Retford, providing opportunities to gain experience while maintaining flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2
• Follow school planning and curriculum expectations
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and routines
• Support pupils with different learning needs
• Assess learning and provide feedback where required
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Adapt teaching to suit different school environments
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous primary teaching experience
• Experience teaching within KS2 is desirable
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Good knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Enhanced DBS Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
