£750 - £1308.90 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A large primary school in the West End of Newcastle is looking to appoint an experienced Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher for a full-time position, starting in September 2026 for two terms. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, excellent classroom practice, and a commitment to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons. This school has excellent public transport routes from the city centre, making it easily accessible.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have:

• Experience of teaching within KS2.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
• An excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.
