About the Role

Teach Now is working with a well-organised Harrow primary school seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher for the new academic year.

The school is proud of its broad curriculum and wants pupils to leave primary education as confident, curious and independent learners. Alongside strong English and maths teaching, staff are encouraged to make meaningful links across science, humanities, arts and wider curriculum subjects.

You will join an established KS2 team with shared planning and regular opportunities to exchange ideas and resources.

Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and well-sequenced KS2 lessons.
  • Maintain high expectations for academic progress.
  • Build pupils’ confidence and independence.
  • Adapt teaching for different abilities and additional needs.
  • Use assessment effectively without creating unnecessary workload.
  • Maintain a calm and purposeful classroom.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
Applicants Should
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Have successful KS2 classroom experience.
  • Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge.
  • Be creative, organised and reflective.
  • Build excellent relationships with pupils.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
