A welcoming primary school in the Great Sankey area of Warrington is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
The school is part of a well-established local academy trust and offers a supportive and inclusive environment where staff work collaboratively to provide children with the best possible learning experience.
The school is based in West Warrington, making it an accessible location for candidates living in Warrington, Great Sankey, Penketh, Widnes, Runcorn and surrounding areas. The school is also well placed for candidates commuting by car via the M62 and M56, with local bus routes serving the surrounding Great Sankey and Warrington areas.
The successful teacher will join a friendly team and will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and creating a positive classroom environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching within KS2
- Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- Be confident planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Be committed to inclusion and adaptive teaching
This opportunity would suit an experienced KS2 teacher or an ECT looking to secure a long-term position in a supportive Warrington primary school.
There is potential for the role to develop into a permanent position for the right candidate.
