Location: Merton, London
Salary: £39,196 - £58,120 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
Contract: Temporary; full-time availability preferred, working pattern to be agreed
Start date: 05/10/2026
Hours: Term time - 8:30 - 3:30 - school day

Transparency Education is seeking a KS2 Teacher in Merton who can help pupils connect ideas, ask thoughtful questions and take pride in their work.
You will plan and deliver the primary curriculum, using assessment to decide when to revisit a concept and when to move learning forward. We are interested in teachers who combine clear explanations with practical ways to engage different learners.

Responsibilities
• Develop coherent lesson sequences across Key Stage 2
• Teach reading, writing and mathematics with appropriate support and challenge
• Use pupil work and assessment to inform future planning
• Create an inclusive classroom with consistent routines
• Coordinate support with teaching assistants and SEND colleagues
• Communicate progress and concerns constructively with parents and carers

Requirements
• UK QTS and relevant primary teaching experience
• Secure knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
• Effective planning, assessment and behaviour-management skills
• A reflective approach and a commitment to helping every pupil participate
• An enhanced DBS check, or willingness to complete one.
