KS2 Teacher in Lewisham, London

Start date: 19 October 2026 | full-time, long-term, temporary

Hours: Term time, 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Encourage pupils to explain their thinking, test ideas and become more independent learners. This KS2 teaching role suits someone who combines ambitious lessons with practical support, helping children grow in confidence across a broad primary curriculum. • Plan well-sequenced lessons across the KS2 curriculum
  

• Strengthen reading comprehension, writing and mathematical reasoning
  

• Assess learning and adapt tasks for support or further challenge
  

• Coordinate classroom support and keep families informed of progress
  

• UK QTS and a recognised teaching qualification
  

• Relevant KS2 experience and strong primary curriculum knowledge
  

• Effective assessment, behaviour management and communication skills
  

• A commitment to safeguarding and an enhanced DBS check appropriate to the role, or willingness to complete one.
  

• Develop connected learning across a varied primary curriculum
  

• A term-time role with a consistent weekday working pattern
