Teach Now is recruiting a confident KS2 Teaching Assistant for a full-time position at a primary school in Hertfordshire.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping older primary pupils grow in independence and confidence while preparing for the increasing academic demands of Key Stage 2.
You will work closely with the class teacher, supporting pupils during lessons and delivering targeted interventions where additional help is needed.
- Support teaching and learning across KS2.
- Deliver small-group literacy and numeracy interventions.
- Provide individual support to pupils who need additional help.
- Encourage independence, resilience and positive learning habits.
- Help maintain high standards of behaviour.
- Monitor progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff.
- Previous KS2 or primary-school experience.
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
- Strong English and maths skills.
- Confidence supporting pupils with differing abilities.
- SEN experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Competitive daily rate.
