Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the FY1 area of Blackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant or an aspiring education professional looking to make a positive impact on pupils' learning and progress.
The successful candidate will work across Key Stage 2, providing targeted intervention support to small groups and individual pupils. You will play an important role in helping children develop confidence, close learning gaps, and achieve their full potential.
The Role- Deliver targeted interventions in English, Maths, and other curriculum areas.
- Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Work across different KS2 classes as required.
- Assist teachers in monitoring pupil progress and attainment.
- Promote a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support children with varying learning needs and abilities.
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting, ideally KS2.
- A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- A proactive and flexible approach to working across different classes.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
