Lab Technician in Cambridge

The Laboratory Technician will:
- Prepare electrode slurries, coatings and samples for testing and evaluation.
- Support electrode manufacturing trials across laboratory and pilot-scale processes.
- Conduct routine testing, characterisation and data analysis activities.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment safely and effectively.
- Prepare and present experimental results to engineering and technical teams.
- Develop and maintain laboratory documentation, including SOPs, COSHH assessments and Risk Assessments.
- Manage laboratory consumables and support general laboratory organisation.
- Collaborate with materials, cell development and engineering teams on research activities.
The Laboratory Technician will have:
- A degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific or engineering discipline.
- Experience working within a scientific or laboratory environment, gained through industry experience, placements or internships.
- Practical laboratory experience, including safe handling of chemicals and operation of laboratory equipment.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to analyse and interpret experimental data.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced R&D environment.
