Laboratory Technician

Are you detail-oriented, accurate, and looking to build a career in a technical laboratory environment? We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team, working across both chemical analysis and micro-section inspection functions. 

• Carrying out chemical analysis, including titrations, pH measurements, and the use of Atomic Absorption (AA) equipment.
• Preparing, inspecting, and reporting on micro-sections using microscopes and specialised inspection techniques.
• Producing clear, accurate, and professional reports and recorded results to customer standards.
• Working closely with different departments across the shop floor to support quality and manufacturing processes.
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.

This role involves rotating shifts:

• Monday – Thursday
  • 6:00am – 1:30pm (Days)
  • 1:30pm – 9:00pm (PM Shift)
• Friday
  • 6:00am – 12:30pm (Days)
  • 12:30pm – 7:00pm (PM Shift)

Additional hours may be required when business needs demand.

Pay rate £12.84 ph increasing after probation passed

• Has a science or maths qualification (beneficial but not essential).
• Has a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (beneficial but not essential).
