Location: St Helens, Merseyside
Rate: £19.95 per hour (Via Umbrella)
Contract: 2 Months (Until the end of September)
Start Date: 3rd August
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am start, 9 hour days

Summary

Altera Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading client delivering a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in St Helens. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Site Labourer to join the team on a two month contract, supporting the safe and efficient day to day operation of the construction site.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous construction or industrial site experience who is happy to undertake a variety of general labouring duties and work as part of a busy project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Moving materials safely around the site.
• Assisting with the erection and maintenance of safety barriers and temporary fencing.
• Cleaning tools, equipment and maintaining a tidy work environment.
• Supporting site personnel with general labouring tasks as instructed.
• Following all site health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Labourer or General Operative on construction or industrial sites.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team.
• Good awareness of health and safety practices on site.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to undertake a range of physical tasks.
• A Banksman qualification would be highly advantageous but is not essential.
