General Labourer, Construction & Steel, Temp, Glasgow

- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am–4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am–3:30pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Approximately 85% site-based in Glasgow
- Approximately 15% workshop-based in Holytown
- Varied, hands-on work within a busy construction environment
- Opportunity to gain further experience working alongside skilled trades
Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades and site teams with general labouring duties
- Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe
- Move and position steel and materials around site
- Use basic hand tools, including tightening bolts and fixings
- Load, unload and organise materials when required
- Support tradespeople with day-to-day tasks
- Follow site health and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with general duties within the workshop when required
Requirements
- CSCS card is essential
- Previous construction or steel erecting experience is desirable
- Practical, reliable and willing to work as part of a team
- Comfortable with physical, manual work
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- A full driving licence is desirable
- Must have reliable transport or a suitable means of getting to the Holytown workshop when required
- Good attitude and strong work ethic are essential
