General Labourer (Driver Required) - Wolverhampton

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer based in Wolverhampton to join a busy construction project. This is an excellent opportunity to secure 2 months of ongoing work with a well-established contractor, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday - 5 days per week (essential)

You will be required to pick up a member of the site team in Wolverhampton at 6:00am each morning before travelling together to the site in Leicester (LE8 6JE). Finish times will vary depending on site requirements.

Role & Responsibilities:

Picking up a site team member from Wolverhampton each morning and driving to the Leicester site
Carrying out general labouring duties across site
Assisting skilled tradespeople as required
Loading and unloading materials
Moving materials and equipment safely around site
Maintaining site cleanliness and ensuring work areas are kept tidy
Supporting site operations to ensure work progresses efficiently
Following all site health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

Valid CSCS Card (essential)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Own vehicle (essential)
Previous experience working as a labourer on construction sites
Strong work ethic and excellent reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
Must be able to provide a recent and checkable work reference

High Importance

Reliability is absolutely essential for this role. You must be available to work all 5 days each week and be committed to turning up on time every day. As you'll be responsible for transporting another member of the site team to site each morning, any absence or last-minute cancellations will have a significant impact on the project and disrupt site operations. We are looking for someone who is dependable, committed, and takes pride in their attendance.
