Labourer

We are currently recruiting an experienced Construction Labourer to join a major student accommodation development in Fallowfield, Manchester.

Working for a leading Tier 1 M&E contractor, you will play an important role supporting the electrical installation team by assisting with deliveries, distributing materials and helping to keep the project running efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on one of Manchester's largest construction projects, with work expected to last up to 2 years.

The Role

• Assisting with the unloading and distribution of site deliveries.

• Loading out electrical materials to subcontractors across the project.

• Moving materials safely around site.

• Keeping storage areas organised and tidy.

• Assisting the site management team with general labouring duties.

• Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient working environment.

• Supporting the electrical installation teams as required.

• Location: Fallowfield, Manchester

• Project: 3,000-Bed Student Accommodation Development

• Start Date: Immediate

• Duration: Up to 2 years

• Rate: £17.00 per hour

• Hours: 45 hours per week

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card (Essential).

• Previous experience working as a Construction Labourer on commercial construction projects.

• Reliable, hardworking and physically fit - We will require references on this.

• Experience assisting with site deliveries and material distribution would be advantageous.

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

• Own PPE.
