Labourer Supervisor

Labourer / Trainee Supervisor – Midlothian

We are currently looking for a Labourer / Trainee Supervisor to join a busy construction team working across the Midlothian area.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced labourer who is looking to develop their construction knowledge and progress into a supervisory role.

The successful candidate will work alongside a range of trades, including joiners, roughcasters, roofers, painters and general labour, helping to coordinate works and ensuring projects are completed safely and to a good standard.

The Role:

• Assisting with the day-to-day running of construction works
• Working alongside and helping to coordinate various trades
• Supporting site management
• Ensuring works are carried out safely and efficiently
• Helping with materials, site organisation and general labouring duties
• Taking on increasing supervisory responsibility as experience develops

Requirements:

• Previous construction labouring and construction experience
• ideally the SSSTS qualification and CSCS card - may not be essential
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good communication and organisational skills
• A genuine ambition to develop into a Site Supervisor in the very near future
