Workshop Labourer / Yard Operative

Locations: Commutable from Montrose, Arbroath, Brechin, Forfar and surrounding areas

£16.50 - £17.38 per hour (Umbrella) + Overtime at 1.5x Mon-Thu & first 4 hours Sat, 2x after 4 hours Sat & Sundays

12 Month Contract (Possible Extension)

Excellent opportunity for someone with experience working in a manufacturing, engineering or workshop environment who is looking for a long-term contract with plenty of overtime opportunities.

Do you have experience working within a busy manufacturing or engineering environment? Do you hold a current B1 forklift licence and want a varied role with an established company?

This well-established engineering business provides specialist products and services to customers across a range of industries. Due to continued workload, they are looking to add a Labourer/Yard Operative to their workshop team on a long-term contract.

In this role you will provide general support across the workshop and production areas. Duties will include moving components between workstations, power washing equipment, general cleaning and housekeeping, assisting production teams and operating material handling equipment where required.

The role operates Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 and Friday 07:00 - 12:00.

The Role:

* Moving components and materials around the workshop
* Power washing equipment and supporting general production activities
* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workshop organisation
* 12 month contract with overtime and potential extension

The Person:

* Previous manufacturing, engineering, warehouse or workshop experience
* Current accredited B1 forklift licence highly desirable
* Comfortable with manual handling and general workshop duties
* Looking for a long-term contract opportunity
