Hours of work: This role operates on a 3-week rotating shift schedule.

12 hour shift pattern, Days & Nights, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM and 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

• Week One - 3 Days
• Week Two - 3 Nights
• Week Three - 2 days & 2 Nights

Main Duties

• Operate the appropriate machinery to produce products of the required quality and within customers’ specifications.
• Constantly monitor output to ensure that it is of the standard required, rejecting any that does not meet the standards.
• Take appropriate corrective action to rectify problems as they may occur.
• Ensure all relevant information is accurately input into the company’s business system for shop floor data collection purposes
• Carry out the required QA testing to ensure the product meets customers’ requirements and strict specifications and accurately record results.
• Ensure the operation of the machinery remains within minimum waste, and quality rejects.
• Assist in the general preventative maintenance of the machine including cleaning of heads etc.

Specification

• Experience of a manufacturing environment essential
• IT Literate with experience of operating computer operated machines
• Good attention to detail and able to work to demanding deadlines
• Logical thinker with the ability to solve problems and work out solutions
• Good communicator and team player with an enthusiastic approach
