Land Surveyor in Perth, Perth and Kinross

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Land Surveyor to join a major highways infrastructure project in Scotland, supporting the delivery of a significant civil engineering scheme.

The Role

• Carrying out land and engineering surveys across the project.
• Undertaking topographical surveys and establishing site control networks.
• Setting out and surveying highways, earthworks, drainage and structures.
• Conducting detailed level, alignment and dimensional checks.
• Completing as-built surveys and producing accurate survey data.
• Using GPS/GNSS equipment, total stations and relevant surveying software.
• Processing survey data and preparing reports, drawings and records.
• Liaising with Site Engineers, Site Agents and the wider engineering team.
• Ensuring all survey work meets project specifications, quality standards and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Land Surveyor on civil engineering, highways or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of topographical surveying, site control and engineering surveys.
• Competent in using GPS/GNSS equipment, total stations and surveying software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and process survey data accurately.
• Relevant surveying qualifications or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• A full UK driving licence is advantageous.

Contract Details

• Rate: £350–£450 per day, depending on experience.
• Start: ASAP.
• Duration: 18 months.
• Location: Scotland, Perthshire area.
• Accommodation and a vehicle may be available!
