Laser Cutter 

Location: Nottingham
Salary: £15.00–£17.00 per hour (including shift allowance)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

We are looking for 2 experienced Laser Cutters to join our growing production team. You will be responsible for setting up and operating laser cutting machinery, producing high-quality components to engineering drawings while meeting production, quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate and monitor laser cutting machines.

• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and production documentation.

• Carry out machine adjustments and tooling changes.

• Perform quality inspections using measuring equipment.

• Complete production records accurately.

• Carry out basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area.

• Follow Health & Safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery.

• Ability to read engineering drawings.

• Experience using verniers, micrometers and measuring gauges.

• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience with CNC laser cutting, sheet metal manufacturing, FLT or overhead crane operation is advantageous.
