We are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Operator to join a busy metal sheet fabrication environment in Nuneaton.
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 9:00pm – 7:30am
Pay: £15.00 – £16.00 per hour
Type: Temp to Perm
🛠️ The RoleWorking Monday to Thursday on a 9:00pm – 7:30am night shift, you will be responsible for:
- Operating laser cutting machinery within a metal sheet fabrication environment
- Loading and unloading sheet metal and materials from the machines
- Setting and operating machinery safely and efficiently
- Carrying out quality checks on finished components
- Ensuring products meet required specifications and quality standards
- Performing basic maintenance and routine checks on the machinery
- Reporting any faults or issues with the equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health & safety and production procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery
- Experience within metal sheet fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
- The ability to work independently during night shifts
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to carry out routine machine maintenance
