Our client based in Nelson is looking for an experienced Laser Operator on a permanent basis, the client is a well-respected manufacturer and are looking for candidates with experience on
The Job
- Operating Trumpf CNC Laser machines, both CO2 & Fibre
- Accepting deliveries of raw materials
- Dispatching finished products
- Carrying out regular services and maintenance on machines
- Delivering finished products across the north of England when required
- Keeping the work area clean and tidy
- Meeting deadlines
- keeping regular check of stock
- Loading/Unloading HGV's
About you
- Ability to understand, interpret and work to Engineering drawings and to work to tight tolerances
- Team player with the ability to work alone and use own initiative with minimum supervision.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to support the business needs.
- An in-depth knowledge of laser machining.
- A commitment to implement and develop business improvement initiatives across the cell.
