The Company
This engineering organisation based in Britton Ferry is currently expanding and in need of 2 new team members to operate a laser welding machine.
The Role
The position will initially be a temporary role working for Work Wales but for the right applicant could become permanent at a later stage. You will work a 40 hour week between the hours of 6AM - 5PM Monday - Friday. The company are flexible on the actual hours you work between these times.
Duties will include:
- Fitting products ready for laser welding
- Operating a laser welding machine
- Ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times due to working with extremely hot products
- Packing finished goods ready for dispatch
- Cleaning finished goods and maintaining a tidy workspace
The successful applicant will have the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Have experience working in a production environment
- Previous experience in a welding workshop an advantage
- Happy to work in an engineering workshop environment
- Be punctual and reliable
- Have a keen eye for detail
