We're recruiting for an experienced LCV Technician to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop in Northampton.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Van Technician looking for a stable, permanent position with competitive pay, regular working hours and excellent opportunities for technical development.
You'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, diagnosing and repairing a range of light commercial vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, reliable and compliant with industry standards.

The Role
As an LCV Technician, you will be responsible for:
·Carrying out routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Servicing, maintaining and repairing light commercial vehicles.
·Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT inspections.
·Diagnosing vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment.
·Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs.
·Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
·Completing all required paperwork and job documentation accurately.
·Maintaining good housekeeping standards within the workshop.
·Following all Health & Safety procedures and company standards.
·Working as part of a professional team to minimise vehicle downtime.

About You
We're looking for an experienced LCV Technician / Van Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician with:
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
·Previous experience working on light commercial vehicles / vans.
·Strong diagnostic skills are essential.
·Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability.
·Experience with vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
·Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
·A reliable and professional approach to work.
·The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours
Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
One in two Saturdays
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a consistent daytime working pattern.
