Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking to take the next step in your career?

We're looking for a Lead AC Engineer to join a growing business, taking the lead on installations, maintenance and small teams while remaining heavily hands-on. This role is ideal for a Senior Engineer who enjoys mentoring others and wants more responsibility without moving into a fully office-based position.

The Role

• Lead commercial AC installation and maintenance projects
• Provide technical support and guidance to engineers on site
• Supervise small teams and ensure work is completed to a high standard
• Carry out site surveys for quoted works
• Support the operational and commercial teams where required
• Remain hands-on, with approximately 60–80% of your time spent on the tools
• Participate in a 1 in 7 call-out rota

Package

• £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary
• Travel scheme worth approximately £10,000
• Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Optional overtime paid at 1.5x
• Fuel card
• Parking expenses covered
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
• NEST pension
• £150 standby payment for the call-out rota

Requirements

• Strong background in commercial air conditioning installation and maintenance
• Experience leading projects or mentoring junior engineers
• Confident fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills
• F-Gas Level 3 qualification
• Full UK driving licence
