Lead Business Travel Consultant - Scotland in Aberdeen City

A large Travel Management Company (TMC) is looking for an experienced senior Business Travel Consultant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with working Galileo or Sabre or Amadeus skills and previous senior business travel experience to take the lead role on a dedicated account . Based from home, or Scotland you will earn a salary up to £33,000 DOE plus excellent benefits.
As a senior business travel consultant you will:

• Manage worldwide travel bookings for a number of business travel clients, using a GDS either Sabre , Galileo or Amadeus
• Arrange flights, car hire, rail, and hotel reservations in line with client travel policies
• Offer the most cost-effective and convenient travel solutions
• Handle ticketing, reissues, and other administrative tasks
• Being the lead SBTC on a dedicated account  - standing as the first in line contact for the client 

As a lead Business Travel consultant you will have :

• Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant is essential up to senior  or lead consultant level 
• Strong GDS knowledge is a must
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a homebased role if you want to work from home
• Take on the responsibility of account managing the client whilst being hands on as a Senior Business Travel Consultant 

Additional BTC info :

• Small shift pattern between 8.30am – 6.30pm
• Monday to Friday schedule – no weekends!
• Fully homeworking or hybrid or officed based (the latter for Scottish candidates)

• Training for 3 weeks in Scotland
