If you're an experienced Maintenance Engineer who is ready to take the next step, but don't fancy disappearing into an office all day, this could be worth a look.
We're looking for a Lead Engineer to join a well-established food manufacturing business in Scunthorpe.
You'll be around 90% hands-on, acting as the go-to engineer on shift and supporting the wider engineering team with more complex breakdowns, fault finding and continuous improvement.
The role- Act as the technical point of contact for the engineering team on shift
- Get stuck into complex electrical and mechanical breakdowns
- Support and mentor other engineers
- Drive continuous improvement across the site
- Help improve reliability and reduce repeat breakdowns
- Continue developing your own technical and leadership skills
- Strong electrical bias with good mechanical knowledge
- Solid maintenance engineering background
- Experience in Food, FMCG or a similar manufacturing environment
- Comfortable troubleshooting electrical faults and getting stuck into breakdowns
- Someone ready to take that next step into a Lead Engineer position
