Lead Miner

£420 per Shift (PAYE) | 12-Hour Shifts | Lodge Available

We are currently seeking experienced Lead Miners to join a major tunnelling project based near North Acton Station, London NW10. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a busy site with competitive rates and accommodation support available.

• 7 DAYS-3 off-7 nights-4 off rotation
• 12-hour shifts
• £420 per shift (PAYE)
• Lodge available for operatives living more than 50 miles from site

• Carry out and oversee tunnelling operations in accordance with site requirements.
• Work closely with site management and tunnelling teams to maintain programme targets.
• Ensure all activities are undertaken safely and in line with company procedures.

• NVQ Level 2 in Tunnelling Operations (Blue Card)
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Proven experience in a Lead Miner position
• Strong understanding of safe systems of work and tunnelling operations
• Ability to lead crews and work effectively in a demanding environment
