Lead piping engineer

Lead the piping discipline through multi-discipline projects.
Take responsibility for preparing, interpreting and reviewing piping engineering documentation.
Preparation and checking of calculations, specifications, schedules, etc.
Supervision of piping designers and allocation of work.
Ensure work is carried out in accordance with relevant design codes, standards and procedures.
Provide input to cost estimates and execution plans.
Plan and maintain the discipline progress of the project.
Liaise with other disciplines, departments, project personnel, vendors, clients, etc.
Participate in key project reviews; HAZOP, model reviews, constructability review meetings.
Assist Principal Piping Engineers in other discipline related activities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, ideally a chartered engineer.
Extensive experience in onshore/offshore piping engineering in the oil and gas industry.
Good knowledge of the relevant Piping & Plant Layout codes and standards.
Knowledge of project controls within discipline.
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary project environment.

Minimum attendance of 3 days per week in the Aberdeen office.
