Lead Solar Electrician / Qualified Supervisor – Overview

We are currently working with a Renewable Energy company based in Worcester who are seeking an experienced Lead Solar Electrician / Qualified Supervisor to oversee and deliver Solar PV installations across domestic and commercial properties in the local area. The company have been established since 2002 and are extremely successful in their field, offering training, development, progression and an excellent package to all Engineers.

They cover both domestic and commercial sites, working on Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging, Heat Pumps and Air Conditioning systems. They are looking for a highly skilled Electrician who can lead Solar PV installations, supervise subcontractors, ensure compliance, carry out testing & inspection, and support the wider renewables team. Additional training can be provided on technologies such as Battery Storage and EV Charging if you’re interested in broadening your skill set.

The majority of the work is local to Worcester, and you will be required to cover the immediate surrounding areas such as Gloucester, Stratford, Hereford, Cheltenham, Birmingham, Redditch, Walsall, Wolverhampton and similar locations.

Lead Solar Electrician / Qualified Supervisor – Requirements

• Proven experience installing and commissioning Solar PV systems

• Qualified Supervisor experience or the ability to step into a QS role

• 18th Edition (essential)

• 2391 Test & Inspection (essential)

• NVQ Level 3 (essential)

• ECS Gold Card (essential)

• Battery Storage experience (desirable)

• Strong understanding of electrical compliance, testing and certification

• Excellent problem solving and diagnostic skills

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally as required

Lead Solar Electrician / Qualified Supervisor – Salary & Remuneration

• Basic Salary £45,000 – £55,000

• Company Van + Fuel Card

• Hours: Mon–Fri – 8am–5pm

• Overtime available

• 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
