If you’re an experienced Lead Surveyor looking for greater influence over client strategy, this role gives you ownership of complex valuation and advisory instructions across commercial, residential and development assets. You’ll lead assignments from inception to completion, shaping recommendations that protect, enhance and realise value.

As Lead Surveyor, you’ll have autonomy over client mandates while working closely with specialist teams across the wider business. There is a defined opportunity to progress, alongside in-house support to fulfil annual CPD requirements.

About the Company

You’ll join an established property consultancy providing valuation, strategic advisory and wider property services. The business takes a joined-up approach across specialist teams, with a strong focus on high-quality advice, long-term client relationships and RICS professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead valuation and strategic advisory instructions across commercial, residential and development assets.
  • Produce valuations, options appraisals and recommendations covering value optimisation, redevelopment and disposal strategies.
  • Act as principal adviser to assigned clients, coordinating internal specialists and external advisers.
  • Develop relationships with lenders, investors, developers and professional advisers, contributing to new instructions and service-line growth.
About You

  • Experience delivering commercial, residential and/or development property valuations and strategic property advice.
  • Proven experience managing multiple client instructions from inception through to completion.
  • MRICS and Registered Valuer status are highly desirable, alongside experience producing high-quality valuation and advisory reports.
