Lead Systems Engineer - RF Data Links in Stevenage, Hertfordshire

We are looking for an experienced Lead Systems Engineer - RF Data Links to join our client on a 12 -month assignment. As the Lead Systems Engineer - RF Data Links you will be responsible for the development and delivery of an RF data link system within a weapons system program

Role: Lead Systems Engineer - RF Data Links
Pay: £85 per hour via Umbrella
Location: Stevenage or Bristol
Contract: 12 Months
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week
Security Clearance: Security Clearance required to start

Responsibilities:

• Requirements definition and management
• Systems design methodologies
• Work package management
• Technical leadership of junior engineers
• Managing internal suppliers, and external suppliers
• Managing customer stakeholders
• Leading design reviews across the product lifecycle
• Experience with proving and validation
• Experience working within an international team
• Managing Technical Risks

Skillset/experience required:

• The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC clearance.
• Understand RF communication principals and design.
• Have experience managing project timescales and deliverables and providing technical leadership to a small engineering team.
• Good interaction skills, verbal and written communication are essential.
