Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement Officer

£35-40K plus benefits plus 25 days leave

37 Hours, Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm (3.30pm Friday)

Do you have a strong working background in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement, and looking for a permanent role with a large manufacturing company?

This is a newly created position so you can make this role your own.

You will work across a variety of manufacturing divisions within the facility, helping to lead CI initiatives whilst building an overall culture of using lean methodologies.

This is an exciting and challenging role where you can really utilise you knowledge and passion for lean/CI and support the companies growth.

The Role

1. Full time, permanent role based on a large manufacturing site
2. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean, kaizen, 5S/6S and other problem solving tools.
3. Coach and train staff to embed a culture of using lean principles to improve performance across the site.
4. Ultimately improve safety, quality and performance across the site

The Person

1. Working experience in the manufacturing sector
2. Demonstrable working experience of delivering lean or continuous improvement projects/initiatives
3. Any formal lean qualifications would be preferred
