Job Title: Learning and Skills Coach in Early Years

Hours: Part-time (29.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)

Salary: £28,200.80 - £30,404 per annum (pro-rata, dependent on experience and qualifications)

What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a qualified, patient, and customer-focused Learning and Skills Coach to join our dedicated Early Years department. This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire new skills and develop your abilities across a wide range of activities within a welcoming and inclusive further education community.

Location & Travel: The position is primarily based across our main regional campuses; however, all applicants must be prepared to travel to our other local campuses or surrounding areas as required.

What You'll Be Doing
You will support our learners and employer partners across various aspects of training and assessment. Key day-to-day responsibilities include:

Employer Engagement: Arranging appointments and visiting employer premises to deliver training needs analysis, interviews, assessments, inductions, Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), progress reviews, and training.

Administration: Completing timely, accurate, and audit‑compliant administration to maintain learner files and tracking systems.

Compliance & Delivery: Ensuring correct registration and compliance for externally accredited programmes, and delivering workplace assessments to awarding‑body standards.

Programme Development: Developing tailored training programmes and innovative delivery models to meet evolving employer needs.

Quality & Improvement: Maintaining high customer service standards through effective communication, and identifying improvements to enhance our provision.
