Protocol Education is currently recruiting a caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support for pupils within a welcoming and inclusive school in Southend-on-Sea.
This rewarding role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and socially.
The Role- Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional learning needs.
- Assisting with classroom activities and lesson participation.
- Supporting the pupil's emotional, social, and academic development.
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and engagement in learning.
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support progress.
- Promoting a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment.
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND is advantageous.
- A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
