Role: Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant
Contract: Long-term / Full-time
Start Date: September
Pay: £93-£105 per day, dependent on experience
Are you resilient, passionate and genuinely motivated by helping children succeed?
We are looking for a dedicated and resilient Learning Support Assistant to join a fantastic school and become a valued member of their support team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who doesn't simply want to work in a school, but genuinely wants to make a difference to children's lives, learning and confidence.
You will have the opportunity to work across different Key Stages, supporting pupils both 1:1 and within small groups, meaning no two days will necessarily look the same.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide high-quality 1:1 support to pupils who require additional assistance.
- Work with small groups of children, supporting their learning and development.
- Support pupils across different Key Stages and adapt your approach to different ages and abilities.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children.
- Encourage pupils to develop their confidence, independence and resilience.
- Support children who may require additional academic, social, emotional or behavioural support.
- Work closely with teachers and the wider support team to ensure pupils receive consistent support.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Celebrate progress, however big or small.
- Encourage children to believe in themselves and reach their potential.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
Resilient - You understand that supporting children isn't always easy and are able to remain calm, consistent and positive when faced with challenges.
Genuinely passionate - You care about children and want to see them succeed, not simply complete the working day.
Adaptable - You can confidently move between Key Stages, individuals and groups and adjust your approach according to the needs of the pupils.
Relationship-focused - You understand the importance of building trust before expecting children to engage and learn.
Patient & consistent - You can provide children with the reassurance, boundaries and encouragement they need.
Enthusiastic & engaging - You can make learning enjoyable and help pupils feel motivated.
Trial days will be commencing soon, so please apply TODAY!
