What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional complex needs throughout the school day
- Delivering targeted interventions on a 1:1 and small-group basis
- Encouraging positive engagement with learning and classroom routines
- Collaborating with teachers and SEND staff to implement personalised support plans
- Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
- Promoting social, emotional and behavioural development across the school environment
Ideal Candidate for this Westminster School:
- Experienced Learning Support Assistant with previous Primary school experience
- Holds a Psychology degree or relevant SEND-related qualification (desirable)
- Demonstrates strong understanding of autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs
- Communicates effectively with pupils, staff and parents
- Remains calm, patient and consistent when supporting children with complex needs
- Committed to working full-time from September
