As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Assist with learning activities tailored to individual needs.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide the best possible support.
- Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential).
- Is patient, compassionate and resilient.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is committed to supporting pupils with diverse learning needs.
- Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
