Learning Support Assistant

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September.

The school has a strong focus on inclusion and pupil wellbeing, and is looking for someone who can provide consistent, high-quality support to pupils both in the classroom and through targeted interventions.

• Supporting pupils across the primary age range with their learning and development
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
• Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN and behavioural needs
• Helping pupils build confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours
• Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team
• Contributing to a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment

• A supportive and welcoming staff team
• Strong leadership and a clear commitment to inclusion
• Excellent resources and well-established support systems
• Opportunities to develop your experience within a primary school setting

The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive and confident building positive relationships with children. Previous experience working with SEN is desirable, but the school is also open to candidates with strong transferable experience.
