TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Secondary School in The Vale of Glamorgan who are looking to appoint a Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistant. The school promotes an inclusive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.

The school is looking to take on a Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistant on a temporary basis with an ASAP start. The successful Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistant will be supporting pupils with ALN on both a one-to-one and small group basis, while also assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The successful Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people within an educational setting

• Experience supporting pupils with ALN

• Fluent Welsh language skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
