The school is looking to appoint a dedicated LSA on a full-time temporary basis from September. The successful LSA will support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, working closely with teaching staff to provide both classroom and individual support, helping pupils build confidence, regulate their emotions and engage positively with learning.

The successful LSA will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly SEMH needs

• A caring, patient and resilient approach

• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• The ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team

• A proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
