Teaching Personnel is recruiting dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work full-time in specialist SEN and SEMH schools across Portsmouth from September. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact on the lives of children and young people with a range of additional needs.
The RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs.

Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
-
Support students with social, emotional and behavioural development.
-
Work alongside teachers and other professionals to deliver personalised learning.
-
Encourage confidence, independence and positive relationships.
-
Assist with classroom activities and help pupils achieve their individual goals.
You'll be working in specialist schools supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs, including:

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
-
ADHD
-
Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
-
Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties
-
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

Complex behavioural needs
