Learning Support Assistant in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Pay: £101.68-£112.00 per day

Job description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 pupil with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).

In this rewarding role, you will provide personalised 1:1 support, helping a child achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Working under the guidance of a qualified teacher, you will assist with learning activities, wellbeing support, and the implementation of tailored educational programmes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant
• Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is highly desirable
• GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
• Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting children's learning and development
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum is advantageous
